• You MUST first know what you’d like to study. 
• Make sure that you have completed the TCCi Personality Profile and the Do What You Are to make sure your interests and your career choice match!
• Come to the Counseling Center and look at all the universities in the UK that have your major field of study
• Spend a good deal of time checking out those schools and deciding what you want and what you don’t want
• Make a list of at least 15 schools and give the reasons why they are on your list
• You may direct entry to Law or Medicine
• Standard university degree is 3 years!
• There are two types of degrees: Regular and more specific career ones called Foundation degreess.

General requirements:

• Diploma: Prefer IP diploma, although some may consider US with scores from AP or SAT. You can always do a foundation year.
• Testing: IB! And for Law (www.lnat.ac.uk) or Medicine (www.bmat.org.uk)
• Language proficiency: Prefer the IELTS, but may take TOEFL
• Note: Oxford, Cambridge, all Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science must apply by October 15!
